Review and reuse material versions
View prior versions and create a separate material draft from an older version.

View prior versions
Open the Versions settings to review published snapshots.
Open the material in Materials.
Go to Settings.
Select Versions in the settings sidebar.
Review the published versions.
Select View to preview a version.
Each row lists the material’s version number, when it was published, who published it, and how many modules and units it contains.
Create a material from an older version
Copy the selected version into a separate draft.
In Settings > Versions, select View for the version you want.
Review the content in preview mode.
Select Create draft from version.
Keep the suggested title or enter your own, then select Create Draft.
Continue editing in the new draft, which Enlytning opens for you.
The dialog suggests a title of Copy of <material name> v<version>. A title is required, so Create Draft stays unavailable while the field is empty.
Enlytning gives the copy a new material ID. Changes to the copy do not alter the original material or its version history.
Publish the copied material
After you finish editing:
Select Publish in the editor header.
Review the publish checks.
Select Publish to release the copied material’s first version.
