Creating Materials

Enlytning offers three ways to create materials, each suited to different needs. Access them by clicking Create from your Workspace.

AI Studio

Let AI generate a structure based on your description. Ideal when you know what you want to teach but need help organizing it.

How It Works

1. Click Create from Workspace.
2. Select AI Studio.
3. Describe what you want to create (e.g., "A compliance course about data privacy for new employees").
4. Choose the material type (Course, Policy, or Survey).
5. Click Generate.

The AI creates a draft with modules and placeholder content based on your prompt. You can then edit, refine, and add your own content before publishing.

Tips for Better Results

• Be specific about your audience and goals.
• Mention key topics you want covered.
• Specify the desired length or depth.

Example prompts:

• "Create a 10-minute cybersecurity awareness course for non-technical staff"
• "Build an employee satisfaction survey with questions about work-life balance and management"
• "Generate an IT acceptable use policy covering devices, passwords, and data handling"

Manual Builder

Start with a blank slate and build step-by-step. Best when you have existing content to add or want complete control over structure.

How It Works

1. Click Create from Workspace.
2. Select Manual Builder.
3. Enter a title for your material.
4. Choose the material type (Course, Policy, or Survey).
5. Click Create.

You'll be taken to the editor where you can add modules, units, and content. See Editor for details on building content.

Import Document

Convert existing Word documents into Enlytning policies. Perfect for migrating legacy policy documents.

How It Works

1. Click Create from Workspace.
2. Select Import Document.
3. Drag and drop .docx files or click to browse.
4. Files are converted to policy drafts automatically.

Each document becomes a separate policy with:

• Title based on the filename.
• Automatic table of contents.
• Signature unit appended for acknowledgment.

Choosing the Right Method

You can always edit AI-generated content or restructure imported documents after creation. The creation method just determines your starting point.
