Studio

Generate complete courses, policies, and surveys through an AI-powered chat interface.

Studio is a dedicated AI workspace for creating learning materials. Through a conversational interface, you describe what you need, and Studio generates fully-structured content ready for publishing.

Accessing Studio

Studio is a separate application from the main Enlytning platform. Access it from the Studio link in your organisation's navigation, or navigate directly to your Studio URL.

How Studio Works

Studio uses a chat-based interface:

  1. Start a new conversation or continue an existing one.
  2. Describe what you want to create—a course, policy, or survey.
  3. Optionally attach source documents for the AI to base content on.
  4. Studio generates structured content with modules, pages, and assessments.
  5. Review the generated material and publish when ready.

Material Types

Studio can generate three types of materials:

Courses

Educational content with assessments. Generated courses include:

  • Modules: Logical groupings of related content (typically 3-5 per course).
  • Pages: Instructional content with text, lists, callouts, and tables.
  • Questions: Single-choice, multiple-choice, and matching questions to test understanding.

Policies

Formal documents that communicate rules and procedures. Generated policies include:

  • Sections: Organised policy content.
  • Pages: Policy text with clear, unambiguous language.
  • Signature units: Acknowledgment points where learners confirm understanding.

Surveys

Feedback collection instruments. Generated surveys include:

  • Questions: Single-choice, multiple-choice, rating scales, and ranking questions.
  • Pages: Introductory or explanatory text between question groups.

Using Source Documents

For more accurate, organisation-specific content, provide source materials:

  1. Upload a PDF document, or
  2. Provide a URL to existing content.

When source documents are provided, Studio extracts and structures the information rather than generating generic content. This is ideal for:

  • Converting existing Word documents or PDFs into interactive courses.
  • Transforming policy documents into acknowledgment workflows.
  • Structuring existing training materials for the LMS.

Source Document Tips

The AI bases its output on your source content. Provide comprehensive source materials for the best results.

Brand Kit Integration

If you've configured a Brand Kit, Studio automatically applies your organisation's:

  • Tone of voice
  • Target audience considerations
  • Writing style rules (dos and don'ts)
  • Preferred terminology from your glossary

This ensures generated content matches your organisation's communication standards.

Conversation History

Studio maintains conversation history:

  • Return to previous conversations to continue working.
  • Review what was generated in past sessions.
  • Build on previous work without starting from scratch.

Content Structure

Generated content uses rich formatting:

  • Headings and paragraphs
  • Bulleted and numbered lists
  • Callouts for important information (info, success, warning, error)
  • Expandable details for supplementary content
  • Two-column layouts for side-by-side comparisons
  • Tables for structured data

Editing After Generation

Generated content can be fully edited in the standard material editor:

  • Modify any text or question.
  • Reorder modules and units.
  • Add media from your library.
  • Delete unnecessary sections.
  • Add new content manually.

Best Practices

  • Be specific in your prompts: Include topic, audience, scope, and desired length.
  • Use source documents: When converting existing content, upload the original files.
  • Review before publishing: AI-generated content is a starting point—verify accuracy.
  • Check assessments: Ensure questions test the intended concepts and have correct answers marked.
