Brand Kit
Define your organisation's voice and style to ensure consistent AI-generated content.
Brand Kit captures your organisation's communication standards. When configured, AI features like Studio and the Assistant automatically apply your brand's voice, terminology, and writing conventions.
Accessing Brand Kit
Navigate to Settings > Brand Kit to configure your organisation's guidelines.
Creating Your Brand Kit
You can create a Brand Kit in two ways:
Start from Scratch
Create a blank Brand Kit and manually define each section:
- Go to Settings > Brand Kit.
- Click New.
- Fill in each section with your guidelines.
Import from Existing Guidelines
If you have existing brand guidelines, let the AI extract them:
- Go to Settings > Brand Kit.
- Click Existing.
- Choose your import method:
- Upload: Upload a PDF document containing your brand guidelines.
- URL: Provide a link to your brand guidelines webpage.
- The AI analyses your document and populates each section.
- Review and edit the extracted content.
Import Tips
For best results, provide comprehensive brand guidelines. The AI extracts tone, style rules, terminology, and audience information from your source document.
Brand Kit Sections
Tone of Voice
Define the characteristics of your organisation's voice. These are adjectives or short phrases describing how your content should sound.
Examples:
- Professional
- Friendly and approachable
- Confident
- Supportive
- Clear and direct
The AI uses these characteristics to shape the style of generated content.
Target Audience
Describe who your content is written for. This helps the AI calibrate complexity and tone appropriately.
Examples:
- New employees with no prior experience
- Technical staff with industry knowledge
- Customer-facing team members
- Senior leadership
Writing Style
Define specific dos and don'ts for your content:
Dos - Rules to follow:
- Use active voice
- Keep sentences concise
- Include practical examples
- Address the reader directly
Don'ts - Things to avoid:
- Don't use jargon without explanation
- Avoid passive constructions
- Don't assume prior knowledge
- Avoid overly formal language
Glossary
Define your organisation's preferred terminology. Each entry maps a term to avoid to its preferred alternative.
| Term to Avoid | Preferred Term |
|---|---|
| Employees | Team members |
| Customers | Guests |
| HR | Human Resources (first use) |
| ASAP | As soon as possible |
The AI substitutes preferred terms when generating content.
Colours
Record your brand colours by name. While not used for text generation, this keeps your brand documentation centralised.
Editing Your Brand Kit
All sections are fully editable after creation or import:
- Click on any section to expand and edit.
- Add, remove, or modify entries.
- Changes save automatically or via the save button.
Deleting Your Brand Kit
To remove your Brand Kit entirely:
- Click Delete in the Brand Kit header.
- Confirm the deletion.
This removes all brand guidelines. AI features will use default styles until you create a new Brand Kit.
