Knowledge access by role
Your role determines which sources Enlytning Agent can search:
| Role | Available knowledge |
|---|---|
| Admin or Owner | Processed courses and policies across the organisation, uploaded Knowledge Sources, and Enlytning platform documentation |
| Creator or Regular user | Processed, published courses and policies assigned to that person; excludes Knowledge Sources and platform documentation |
Organisation knowledge base
Admins and Owners can search the organisation’s processed content:
- Company policies and procedures
- Training materials and courses
- Internal rules and guidelines
.docxand.txtfiles uploaded as Knowledge Sources
For example, you can ask:
- “What is our remote work policy?”
- “How do I request time off?”
- “What are the safety procedures for the warehouse?”
Platform documentation
Admins and Owners can also search the Enlytning platform documentation:
- How to use platform features
- Navigation and interface help
- Administrative tasks
- Technical how-tos
For example, you can ask:
- “How do I create a new course?”
- “How do I assign materials to a group?”
- “How do I export a report?”
Enlytning Agent selects sources based on your role. To manage indexed materials and uploads, see Manage searchable content.
Source citations
Responses that use retrieved content show a book icon. Select it to review the source titles:
- Platform-documentation sources link to the relevant documentation page
- Material and Knowledge Source entries identify the source but do not open it
If Enlytning Agent can’t find relevant information in its available sources, it tells you instead of guessing.
Contextual suggestions
When you open Enlytning Agent before sending a message, you’ll see suggestions based on your current page:
- Reports: Suggestions about reports and analytics
- Workspace: Suggestions about creating content
- Brand Kit and Organisation settings: Suggestions about the settings on that page
- Other pages: General suggestions
