Configure approved domains

Let people with an approved email domain discover and join your organisation.

Approve email domains to let matching users discover your organisation without individual invitations.

Understand approved domains

When you approve yourcompany.com, a person who signs up with employee@yourcompany.com can discover and join your paid organisation when a seat is available:

Enlytning matches the email address to the approved domain.

Enlytning shows the organisation during sign-up.

The person joins the organisation and consumes an available seat.

Approved domains reduce invitation work for organisations with frequent new starters.

Domain security

Approve only domains that your organisation owns and controls. Remove a domain immediately if your organisation loses control of it.

Add an approved domain

Admins and Owners can add domains under organisation discoverability settings:

Go to Settings > Organisation.

Find Discoverability.

Select a detected domain under Domains.

Enlytning saves the domain automatically. The list includes domains detected from existing members’ email addresses; you cannot enter another domain.

Remove an approved domain

Remove a domain when matching users should no longer discover the organisation:

Go to Settings > Organisation.

Find Discoverability.

Click × beside the domain.

The domain no longer exposes your organisation during sign-up.

Choose domains to approve

Approve domains under your organisation’s exclusive control:

  • Your primary company domain, such as company.com
  • A controlled subsidiary domain, such as subsidiary.company.com
  • A regional domain you own, such as company.co.uk

Don’t approve domains that allow unrelated people to create accounts:

  • Public email providers, such as gmail.com or outlook.com
  • Domains your organisation doesn’t control
  • Partner or contractor domains that should use invitations

For identity-provider access, see Request single sign-on.
