Billing & Plans
Manage your subscription, view invoices, and update payment methods.
The Billing page gives Owners and Admins full visibility into your organisation's subscription status, payment methods, and billing history. Access it at Settings > Billing.
Current Plan
Your current subscription details are displayed at the top of the Billing page:
- Plan name: The product tier you're subscribed to.
- Billing cycle: Monthly or yearly.
- Seats: The number of user seats included.
- Price: Your current rate (excluding tax).
- Next payment date: When your subscription renews.
Viewing Available Plans
To compare plans or upgrade:
- Navigate to Settings > Billing.
- Click See all plans.
- Review the available tiers and their features.
- Select a plan to upgrade or change your subscription.
Trial Period
New organisations start with a free trial that includes limited seats and full access to features. During your trial:
- You can invite up to 3 users.
- All features are available for testing.
- No payment method is required.
When your trial ends, you'll need to select a paid plan to continue using Enlytning.
Trial Expiration
After your trial expires, users will have limited access until a plan is selected. Your data is preserved, so you won't lose any materials or history.
Payment Methods
Manage the cards and payment methods attached to your account.
Adding a Payment Method
- Navigate to Settings > Billing.
- In the Payment Methods section, click Add Payment Method (or Manage if you already have one).
- You'll be redirected to a secure payment portal.
- Enter your card details or choose Apple Pay / Google Pay.
- Save the payment method.
Updating or Removing Payment Methods
- Navigate to Settings > Billing.
- Click Manage in the Payment Methods section.
- Use the payment portal to update card details, set a default, or remove old methods.
Supported payment methods include:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
Billing History
View and download past invoices:
- Navigate to Settings > Billing.
- Scroll to the Billing History section.
- Click on any invoice to view or download it.
Invoices include:
- Invoice number and date
- Amount charged
- Payment method used
- Tax breakdown (if applicable)
Managing Seats
Your subscription includes a set number of user seats. Each active user and pending invitation counts towards your seat limit. You can view your current seat usage on the Manage > Users page, which displays:
- Active: Users who have accepted their invitation and are using the platform.
- Invited: Users with pending invitations that haven't been accepted yet.
- Inactive: Users who have been deactivated but still occupy a seat.
- Unused: Available seats that can be assigned to new users.
Adding More Seats
If you've reached your seat limit and need to invite more users:
- Navigate to Settings > Billing.
- Click See all plans.
- Select your current plan.
- Use the seat quantity selector to increase the number of seats.
- Choose your billing cycle (monthly or yearly).
- Click Confirm and Pay.
The additional seats are available immediately. You'll be charged a prorated amount for the new seats based on the time remaining in your current billing cycle.
Seat Minimums
You cannot reduce your seat count below the number of currently active and invited users. To reduce seats, first deactivate users or cancel pending invitations.
Freeing Up Seats
If you need to free up seats without purchasing more:
- Deactivate inactive users: Navigate to Manage > Users, find users who no longer need access, and deactivate their accounts.
- Cancel pending invitations: Remove invitations that haven't been accepted if they're no longer needed.
Changing Your Plan
To upgrade or change your subscription:
- Navigate to Settings > Billing.
- Click See all plans.
- Select your desired plan.
- Confirm the change.
Plan changes take effect immediately. If upgrading, you'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing cycle.
Cancelling Your Subscription
To cancel your subscription:
- Navigate to Settings > Billing.
- Find the Cancel subscription section.
- Click Contact us to submit a cancellation request.
Our support team will process your request and confirm the cancellation date.
Cancellation Impact
After cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period. After that, users will have limited access, but your data is preserved.
Coupons and Discounts
If you have a coupon or promotional code:
- Navigate to Settings > Billing.
- Click See all plans.
- Enter your coupon code during checkout.
Active discounts appear as a badge on your Current Plan card showing the discount percentage or amount applied.
