Profile

Manage your personal account information, department assignment, and organisation membership.

Your Profile is where you manage your personal account settings within an organisation. Access it by clicking Settings in the sidebar, then selecting Profile.

Profile Information

Your profile displays your name, email address, and profile picture. This information is managed through your Enlytning account and syncs across all organisations you belong to.

To update your profile:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Profile.
  2. Click the Update profile button.
  3. In the dialog that appears, you can:
    • Change your profile picture
    • Update your name
    • Manage your email address
    • Configure security settings like passkeys and connected devices
  4. Changes are saved automatically and reflected across all your organisations.

Department

Your department reflects your role or team within the organisation. This is used for reporting and can be used by administrators to filter users when creating assignments.

To change your department:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Profile.
  2. Find the Department dropdown.
  3. Select your new department from the list.
  4. Your change is saved automatically.

Department Options

The available departments are configured by your organisation's administrators. If your department isn't listed, contact an Admin or Owner to add it.

Leaving an Organisation

If you need to remove yourself from an organisation, you can do so from your Profile settings. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Profile.
  2. Under the Membership section, click the Leave button.
  3. In the confirmation dialog, review the implications and confirm your decision.

Before You Leave

Leaving an organisation will remove your access to all materials, assignments, and learning history within that organisation. If you're the only Owner, you must transfer ownership before leaving.

Transferring Material

If you've created courses, policies, or surveys and need to hand them off to a colleague, you can transfer ownership of your materials to another team member.

This option is available to users with Creator, Admin, or Owner roles.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Profile.
  2. Under the Content section, click the Transfer button.
  3. Select the materials you want to transfer.
  4. Choose the team member who will become the new owner.
  5. Confirm the transfer.

Once transferred, the new owner will have full editing rights to the materials, and they will appear in their Workspace.
