Configure notification preferences

Configure your email preferences for assignments, deadlines, content activity, and administration. Enlytning always sends in-app notifications for supported events.

Open Settings > Notifications in your organisation to manage these preferences.

Choose a notification channel

Enlytning sends notifications through two channels:

In-app: Enlytning displays these notifications in the notification centre. You cannot turn them off
Email: Enlytning sends these notifications to your account email address. You can turn each notification type on or off

Review personal notifications

Personal notifications apply to every role:

Notification	Description
Assigned to me	New material assignment
Unassigned from me	Removal from an assignment
Assignment upcoming	Approaching assignment deadline
Deadline missed	Missed assignment deadline
New support message	Reply from support

Review content notifications

Content notifications apply when you create or collaborate on materials:

Notification	Description
New version published	Published update to an assigned material
Contributor deleted	Removal of content you contributed
Contributor published	Publication of material you contributed
Collaborator added	Addition as a material collaborator

Review administrative notifications

Administrative notifications apply to Admins and Owners:

Notification	Description
User signed up	New organisation member
Admin daily digest	Daily summary of assignment results and missed deadlines

Update your email preferences

Use the category controls to change one preference or a whole group:

Go to Settings > Notifications.

Review the categories available to your role.

Select or clear a checkbox to change one email notification.

Select or clear a category header checkbox to change every notification in that category.

Enlytning saves each change automatically.

In-app notifications

You cannot turn off in-app notifications. Open the notification centre from the bell icon to review and manage unread notifications.
