Protect your account with passkeys, two-step verification, and session controls.
This reference covers passkeys, two-step verification, active sessions, and device sign-out controls for your account.
Open your avatar menu, select Account Settings, then select General.
Add a passkey
A passkey lets you sign in with biometric authentication, a device personal identification number (PIN), or a hardware security key:
Go to Account Settings > General.
Find the security section, then click Add passkey.
Follow your browser or device prompts.
Give the passkey a recognisable name, such as “MacBook Pro” or “iPhone”.
You can now use the passkey to sign in from that device without entering a password.
Passkey compatibility
Enlytning supports passkeys through Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello, and compatible hardware security keys. Compatibility depends on your browser and device versions.
Remove a passkey
Remove a passkey when you no longer use or control its device:
Go to Account Settings > General.
Find the passkey in the security section.
Open its menu and select Remove.
Confirm the removal.
Review connected devices
The Active sessions section lists the devices signed in to your account:
Go to Account Settings > General.
Find Active sessions.
Review each device’s browser, approximate location, and last active time.
Sign out a device
End a session if you don’t recognise a device or no longer use it:
Go to Account Settings > General.
Find the device under Active sessions.
Click Sign out.
Enlytning ends the session immediately. The device must sign in again to access your account.
Unrecognised activity
If you don’t recognise a device or location, sign out that session. Then change your password or add a passkey.
Enable two-step verification
Multi-factor authentication (MFA), labelled Two-step verification, requires an authenticator code when you sign in from a new device:
Go to Account Settings > General.
Find Two-step verification in the security section.
Click Add, then follow the prompts to connect an authenticator app.
