Security & Access

Manage your account security with passkeys, connected devices, and active sessions.

Enlytning provides robust security features to protect your account. Access your security settings by clicking your avatar in the bottom-left corner and selecting Account Settings, then navigating to General.

Passkeys

Passkeys provide a more secure and convenient way to sign in without passwords. They use biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition) or a device PIN.

Adding a Passkey

  1. Go to Account Settings > General.
  2. In the security section, click Add passkey.
  3. Follow your browser or device prompts to register your passkey.
  4. Give your passkey a recognizable name (e.g., "MacBook Pro" or "iPhone").

Once added, you can use this passkey to sign in from the same device without entering a password.

Passkey Support

Passkeys are supported on most modern browsers and devices, including Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox. They work with Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello, and hardware security keys.

Removing a Passkey

  1. Go to Account Settings > General.
  2. Find the passkey you want to remove in the security section.
  3. Click the menu icon and select Remove.
  4. Confirm the removal.

Connected Devices

View and manage all devices that have access to your Enlytning account.

Viewing Your Devices

  1. Go to Account Settings > General.
  2. Scroll to the Active sessions section.
  3. You'll see a list of all devices currently signed into your account, including:
    • Device type and browser
    • Location (based on IP address)
    • Last active time

Signing Out of a Device

If you notice an unfamiliar device or want to revoke access from a device you no longer use:

  1. Go to Account Settings > General.
  2. Find the device in the Active sessions section.
  3. Click Sign out next to the device.

The session will be terminated immediately, and that device will need to sign in again to access your account.

Suspicious Activity

If you see a device or location you don't recognize, sign out of that session immediately and consider changing your password or adding a passkey for additional security.

Multi-Factor Authentication

For additional security, you can enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) to require a second form of verification when signing in.

  1. Go to Account Settings > General.
  2. In the security section, look for Two-step verification.
  3. Click Add and follow the prompts to set up an authenticator app.

Once enabled, you'll need to enter a code from your authenticator app each time you sign in from a new device.
