Inviting Users

Learn how to invite new users to your organisation and manage pending invitations.

Sending an Invitation

To invite a new user to your organisation:

  1. Navigate to Manage > Users from the main sidebar.
  2. Click the Invite button in the page header.
  3. Enter the user's email address. To invite multiple people at once, separate their email addresses with a comma.
  4. Assign a Role for the new user(s). This will determine their permissions on the platform.
  5. Optionally, select one or more Groups to automatically add them to when they accept the invitation.
  6. Click Send Invites. The new user will receive an email with a unique link to join your organisation.

Email Delivery

If a user reports not receiving their invitation email, ask them to check their spam folder. We also recommend your email administrator adds notifications@enlytning.com to your organisation's allowlist to ensure delivery.

Plan-Specific Permissions

Free Trial

Organisations on the free trial are limited to a maximum of 3 users (including the owner). Anyone with Admin or Owner roles can send invitations, provided there is an available seat.

By default, only Owners and Admins can invite new users to an organisation on a paid plan.

Approved Email Domains

To streamline the joining process for larger organisations, Owners and Admins can add approved email domains under Settings > Organisation > Security.

Once a domain (e.g., yourcompany.com) is approved, anyone who signs up for Enlytning with a matching email address will automatically see a prompt to join your organisation, without needing a manual invitation.

Security Notice

Only add email domains that are exclusively owned and controlled by your organisation. If you ever lose control of a domain, you must remove it from your approved list immediately to prevent unauthorised access.
